Presently, the Belarus radio station transmits its programmes to 20 Western European and North African countries — including Austria, Belgium, Denmark, Germany, Italy, France and Morocco. It is also available globally on-line. A joint study by the radio station and the Belarusian Television and Radio Company’s information and analytical centre has revealed that traffic on the station’s web page has more than tripled. Live English language broadcasting via the Internet is especially popular among foreign listeners. Since it became operational, the page has been visited more than 10,000 times by people from 51 countries.
