А4. Description of the project
The project is directed on the decision of a problem of import replacing of laminated wood particle plates, and also rational use of wood resources by deep processing of wood. On the other hand, the project is export-oriented – 80 % of laminated wood particle plates are supposed to be delivered on export.
А5. А5. Preconditions /history / the general program / the connected or similar projects:
Construction of a factory on manufacture of laminated wood particle plates will allow to provide the enterprises of furniture branch with qualitative materials and, thus, to increase competitiveness of furniture production in the market. The wide assortment of plates on thickness (from 8 up to 40мм), high quality of production, rather low expenses for manufacture (hence, rather low prices) in comparison with analogues allows to judge potentially great demand on manufactured wood particle plates.
А6. The brief description of influence on an environment:
The got hi-tech equipment and the modern "know-how" древесностружечных plates allow to lower harmful influence on an environment, including: - the use of low-waste technologies, at which wood waste products from operations opening (pieces, sawdust, dust) go on use as fuel; - the use of low-toxic pitches; - hose filters are provided for catching soft wood waste products and dust from opening and grindings with a high degree of clearing of 99,5 %. The given actions allow to provide observance of the established allowable concentration on a wood dust and formaldehyde in area of accommodation of manufacture.

The present investment project is aimed at construction of a new plant at one of the Concern’s enterprises that will manufacture production not produced at the local market earlier.

A.5. Pre-requisites / history / basic program

The enterprise at which the plant is supposed to be built is one of major wood-processing and furniture enterprises in Belarus. It produces furniture, plywood, chipboards, saw materials. Production of MDF will contribute to the growth of export.
