Belarus is firmly convinced that the issue of sustainalbe development should remain on the highest rung of the ladder of United Nations priorities, as the international community is left with only four years to realize its global development agenda, including the accomplishment of the Millennium Development Goals and implementation of the "RIO +20" summit decisions, development of a cohesive multi-faceted energy agenda of the UN and cooperation with middle-income countries.
